JOB DESCRIPTION

Effective Fitness is seeking a talented and dedicated Videographer/Video Editor for Effective Fitness Training (EFT) and Effective Fitness Combatives (EFC). As the lead video creator, you will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality video and photo content that aligns with our mission-driven approach to fitness and combatives. You will work closely with the CEO, Social Media Manager, and Marketing Team to produce engaging and visually appealing content across various platforms. In addition to production and editing responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to educate and train our marketing team, coaches, and athletes on content creation in line with our brand.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Video/Photo Production:
  
  • Organize, manage, and produce video/photo shoots that support the vision of the CEO and the marketing strategy of the Social Media Manager
  • Travel as required to various locations to capture compelling content that resonates with our audience
  • Ensure efficient coordination and execution of shoots, including equipment setup, lighting, and other technical aspects 
• Editing and Post-Production:
  • Edit long-form and short-form video content to enhance storytelling and maintain a consistent brand image across platforms such as YouTube, website, webinars, social media, emails, and more
  • Apply color grading techniques to create a cohesive and visually appealing look for all published content
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Team to provide them with the necessary content to execute marketing strategies effectively and meet their goals 
• Brand Consistency and Growth:
  • Help establish and maintain clear guidelines for visual style, tone, and messaging across all video and photo content
  • Work closely with the team to ensure brand consistency in all produced content
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in videography, video editing, and content creation 
• Education and Training:
  • Educate and train the marketing team, coaches, and athletes on content creation aligned with the brand's vision and guidelines
  • Provide guidance on video production techniques, storytelling, and content creation strategies to empower team members to create compelling and brand-aligned content
  • Collaborate with the team to develop ideas and concepts for content creation that resonate with our target audience and support our mission 

REQUIREMENTS

• A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in photography and videography. (Examples of Active Police footage and/or fitness strongly desired.)
• Proficient in video editing software and color grading techniques
• Willing to travel as needed (typically 7 days per month, up to 14 days depending on projects) to capture required content.
• Passion for fitness, combatives, and the Law Enforcement community.
• Ability to adjust on the fly and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Strong organizational skills to manage and coordinate video/photo shoots effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills are essential to effectively work with a remote team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent time management skills ensuring timely delivery to meet project deadlines.
• Familiarity with various social media platforms and their video requirements.
